While seeming somewhat unassuming, Tom Schneider took his seat a few moments ago at Table 32. Schneider may not be a recognizable face to some of the players, being that he primarily spends most of his time on the left coast (he resides in Arizona). Tom was a CPA and CFO of three Arizona companies before transitioning his career in 2002.
It turned out to be a wise move, as Schneider went on to win two WSOP bracelets in 2007 ($2,500 Omaha 8B/Stud Hi/Lo and $1,500 Omaha 8B). He also final tabled the $2,500 H.O.R.S.E. event that same year, giving him the 2007 WSOP Player of Year award. If that wasn't enough, Schneider became the first player to win two mixed game bracelets in the same year, as he won the $1,500 and the $5,000 H.O.R.S.E. events last year.
To break it all down, Schneider has won four bracelets in his career (two years with multi-bracelet series), and has over $2,300,000 recorded tournament earnings.
