At Table 41, Charles Furey was all-in for 11,000 and called by Michael Phelps. Furey's A♥2♥ < A♦J♦ of Phelps, whiffing on what would look like the optimal flop for his hand (6♥ 5♥ 3♦). Phelps would sit with 65,000 after winning the hand.
Only moments later at Table 32 Matt Glantz would open the button to 1,000, and after a flat from the small blind, Orson Young would ship his remaining 12,000. Matt would call as the player behind folded, and Orson would lose a race as his 44 < AQ of Glantz. Glantz is on his third bullet for the event, but is getting healthier now with 72,000.
