It's not very often that you see a 500 big blind pot occur half the way through the first level of any tournament, let alone a $3,500. Donald Gibson managed to win said pot, and grab an early and commanding chip lead (58,000), after his KK > QQ of Ethan Foxman. Ethan seemed resigned to his fate as the chips got all-in pre, and he sheepishly said, "Time for a rebuy."
Gibson is currently seated at Table 31 with the likes of Ari Engel, Chad Power, and Maryland Live! regular Arnold Dinio.
